Mont-LC tablet contains two active pharmaceutical ingredients: Montelukast Sodium and Levocetirizine Hydrochloride. Montelukast works by blocking leukotrienes, which are chemicals the body releases that cause swelling in the lungs and tightening of the muscles around the airways. Levocetirizine is a non-sedating antihistamine that blocks histamine, the substance responsible for itching, sneezing, and watery eyes. Together, they provide a dual-action approach to allergy management.
